James A. Endicott - Lawyer

Born and raised in Branson, Missouri, James A. Endicott has practiced law for the last 25 years primarily as a estate planning lawyer, personal injury lawyer, and business litigation lawyer.  In 1980, he graduated from Truman State University, formerly Northeast Missouri State University, with a Bachelor of Arts in English, summa cum laude, and in 1983, he graduated from the University of Missouri at Columbia with a Juris Doctor (law degree).  In 1991, he obtained a Master of Arts in English Literature at Rutgers University, New Brunswick, New Jersey. 

Mr. Endicott has been admitted to practice before all state courts in Missouri and the U.S. District Court, Western District of Missouri (since 1983); all state courts in New Jersey and the U.S. District Court, District of New Jersey (since 1988); the U.S. Supreme Court (since 1999); and the U.S. Court of Appeals, Eighth Circuit (since 2000).  He is a member of the Springfield Metropolitan and The New Jersey State Bar Associations; The Missouri Bar; the American Association for Justice; and the Missouri Association of Trial Attorneys.  He is the author of "Finding Corporate Venue in Unlikely Places," Journal of the Missouri Bar, Vol. 55, No. 6 (Nov.-Dec., 1999). He currently serves on the Board of Directors of Community Hospices of America Foundation, Inc., Springfield, Missouri.

Besides focusing as a personal injury lawyer, business litigation lawyer, and estate planning lawyer, Mr. Endicott has handled a broad range of legal matters over the years, including automobile accidents and injuries, breach of contract, civil appeals, collections, estate litigation, general practice, insurance litigation, medical malpractice, premises liability, products liability, real estate, slip (trip) and fall, torts, trial practice, trusts, utilities liability, wills, and wrongful death.  His goal in every case is to educate the client about the legal issues, to keep the client fully informed of the progress of the case, to respond timely to the client’s phone calls and requests for information, and to produce the best possible result for the client under the facts and law of the case.
